Maritzburg United head coach Gordon Igesund believes his side can gain a point from their match against Ajax Cape Town.

The 'Team Of Choice' travel to Cape Town on Wednesday looking to bounce back from their disappointing 4-2 defeat to Bloemfontein Celtic last week.

Igesund is confident ahead of the fixture and admits that he will be content with a draw in what is seen as a tough encounter.

The 53-year-old told United's official website: "We've had a week to put the result behind us and work on the players' confidence in training.

"We'll be going to Cape Town in positive mood, though given what a difficult trip it always is I'll be happy to get one point.

"But we will be trying to get something out of the game."
