Kaizer Chiefs head coach Vladimir Vermezovic admits that his team were lucky to salvage a point against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday afternoon.
The 'Brazilians' failed to convert a number of chances to win the encounter towards the end and Vermezovic believes that his side were lucky not to concede more than they did.
The Serbian coach told Football365.co.za: "I must be honest, they had lots of chances to win the game. We must thank our excellent goalkeeper (Arthur Bartman) for the point we got.
"Some can say our defence was weak, but it was because Sundowns kept putting us under pressure and one way or the other they were going to create some chances, which is something they did.
"I think we could have done better especially at the back, but it is good that we managed to fight back and got a point at least.
"We are going to play Moroka Swallows on Wednesday and we will work on everything we didn't do right against Sundowns, especially the defence."
