Golden Arrows hitman Richard Henyekane has admitted that he and his teammates were left surprised by their 6-0 win over Ajax Cape Town in the MTN8 Cup final.
The KwaZulu-Natal team netted two goals in the first-half and four in the second as they put a lacklustre Ajax team to the sword.
He told the PSL's official website: "We did not think we can win by that margin but after the third goal we told ourselves let's keep on going.
"The players really enjoyed themselves and it is a game we won't ever forget."
However, the Bafana Bafana striker says he was left disappointed by Ajax's performance.
He continued: "That was not the Ajax we knew. We were prepared for a battle and our plan worked out perfectly. I don't want to say much about them (Ajax) except that I was personally disappointed."
The 26-year-old also expressed his delight at getting his name on the scoresheet in their R8-million performance.
"I'm happy I scored. I always try to score as it is my job but even if I did not (score) it does not matter as we won.
"It was an excellent team performance and I hope we can do it again and again," he concluded.
