Kaizer Chiefs have a date with the PSL Disciplinary Committee following the 'goalkeepergate' saga ahead of the Soweto derby kick off on Saturday.
There was a 15-minute delay prior to the highly-anticipated clash after referee Harry Lekitlane spotted that stopper Arthur Bartman's charcoal shirt clashed with the Orlando Pirates kit.
'Amakhosi' refused to change the gloveman's jersey, despite revealing that he will don a green top in the pre-match meeting.
PSL prosecutor Zola Majavu has confirmed that the club will attend a hearing on Thursday and a statement released by the league read: "Chiefs failed to change to an alternative kit when so ordered by the match officials and, despite having agreed at both the phone and pre-match meeting that Arthur Bartman wear a green jersey, black short and green socks, he instead he wore a grey jersey.
"Chiefs will also face another charge after the goalkeeper failed to wear an appropriate kit in that the blue jersey which he wore until half-time, and incorrectly numbered 16, did not have the sponsor's logo, and thus contravened a rule of the PSL kit manual."
This is the third time 'Amakhosi' have been ordered to face the DC in roughly five months. They were heavily fined for crowd trouble at Newlands Stadium and also needed a resolution with regards to defender Tshifhiwa Mmbooi who inexplicably had signed for both them and Jomo Cosmos in the off season.
