Bloemfontein Celtic hitman Prince Olomu says Nigeria will need a 'miracle' if they are to qualify for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The Super Eagles, who currently trail group leaders Tunisia by two points with one game to play, will need to win their final tie away to Kenya and hope that the Carthage Eagles lose their away game against Mozambique.
He told Football365.co.za: "I hope Nigeria can qualify, but I'm not a 100% sure we can because Tunisia are in an advanced position as they are two points ahead and we will need a miracle otherwise I don't think we can make it.
"We have to hope for Mozambique to do us a favour by maybe beating Tunisia because they also need a result in order for them to qualify for the Nations Cup in Angola."
The 22-year-old has set his sights on breaking into the Nigerian squad for the African Nations Cup in Angola in January and believes the form that he is currently showing, which has seen him score nine goals in the PSL so far this season, will catch the eyes of the selectors.
He continued: "The ways things are going right now with my present form, I hope that I can make it into the Nigerian side. I'm happy with the way I'm playing at the moment, but there is always room for improvement."
