Sameehg Doutie is confident of Ajax Cape Town's chances of prevailing when they face Orlando Pirates in their second round league match.

The 'Urban Warriors' finished the first round positively as they defeated Mpumalanga Black Aces 2-1 to end their campaign second of the log behind reigning league champions SuperSort United.

He told Football365.co.za: "Its the same like any other game. There are no big team anymore because all the teams are doing well in the league. You see Pirates getting beaten by AmaZulu and it's like nothing happened. Each game is tough we take each game as the same. There are no underdogs or big guns anymore.

"Its going to be a good game though, we are not afraid of anyone. We just want to keep on working hard win our games that is all that matters."

The Cape Town side are unbeaten on the road but they will be playing at Orlando Stadium, where they suffered a 6-0 defeat at the hands of Golden Arrows in the MTN 8 Cup, however, that doesn't worry Doutie.

"That is part of football that happens to every team in the world, to be beaten like that. That was a once off thing, we have passed that stage now out wish is to go forward and win the league."

The 20-year-old appreciates their good away record but admits they need to do the same when they are also playing at home.

"I think it's probably the mental the toughness that the players are more confident in each and every game (away). We just have been buzzing when we have been playing away, that is a good sign. It would also be great for us to start winning our home games with the crowd at our back."
