Bloemfontein Celtic will take on their toughest challenge yet when they travel to Pretoria to take on the defending champions SuperSport United at the Loftus Stadium on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3.30pm).

United further cemented their lead at the top of the current PSL standings with a 2-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs in their league match during midweek.

That win was SuperSport's third in a row. In this three-match winning streak thus far they have notched up nine goals which demonstrates their deadliness in front of goal.

Celtic, on the other hand, only managed a draw in their midweek league encounter against Santos. In fact, it took a last minute goal from Cecil Oerson to salvage them a point as the game ended 1-1.

When these two team met each other earlier in the 2009/10 league season no winner could be found as they played a to a 1-1 draw. Tlou Segolela and Glen Salmon were the respective scorers on the day.

Overall these two teams have faced each other 32 times in official league encounters since 1990. Of those matches United have won eight and Celtic seven times. Most games between these two sides end up in a draw with 17 in their history.
