The Golden Arrows midfielder will be keen to impress Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson as he prepares his troops for the new Premier League season.

Dikgacoi's current club confirmed the news on their official website.

The South Africa international has been on the radar of the London team since last summer, with some reports even indicating that he was close to signing, before failing to secure a work permit due to his limited international caps.

But a successful Confederations Cup - where he played all five games for Bafana Bafana - seems to have rekindled interest from Cottagers.

A statement on the Arrows site said: "Golden Arrows captain and Bafana Bafana central midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi has been invited to train with Fulham Football Club in Australia, where the team is training and preparing for their pre-season.

"He leaves for Australia tomorrow (Thursday). We wish him the best."
