South Africa midfielder Kagiso Dikgacoi is back in his homeland on personal business after completing his transfer to Fulham.

The former Golden Arrows star has put pen to paper on a deal with the west London club after spending some time on trial.

When asked about his move to Fulham Dikgacoi said, "Yes it is completed now. I return next week to Fulham.

"I have just come back (to South Africa) to sort out my stuff that I left behind and to see the family.

"There is also a (international) camp on Sunday because we are playing against Serbia."

Dikgacoi was put through his paces by Fulham manager Roy Hodgson and his technical team during a trial period, and the 24-year-old admits he is delighted with how things went.

He continued: "Everything was fine and the guys were good to me, also the technical team.

"It was fantastic and I think I am going to enjoy myself there."

Asked whether he had time to sit down with Hodgson and talk about his plans for the coming campaign, Dikgacoi said: "Almost everyday we were chatting, discussing a few things.

"I had some time to chat with him."

Foreign players often struggle to adapt to the pace and physicality of the Premier League in their first season.

However, the former Bloemfontein Young Tigers ace believes he has what it takes to adapt quickly.

He added: "It is going to be difficult but I think I am going to adapt quickly.

"I am going to work hard and maybe get a place."
