National First Division (NFD) Coastal Stream log leaders Bay United suffered their first loss of the season when they went down 4-0 to Vasco da Gama at Parow Park over the weekend.

The heavy loss left 'Umlilo' just one point above second place Vasco who have with both teams having played eight games each.

There were victories for Nathi Lions, Thanda Royal Zulu and FC Cape Town who beat Ikapa Sporting, Carara Kicks and Hanover Park respectively to keep up the pace on the pacesetters.

Meanwhile, Black Leopards retained their lead at the top of the Inland Stream with an emphatic 4-2 win over Pretoria University, while Dynamos were held to a draw at home by United FC.

Witbank Spurs moved up to second place on the log after beating African Warriors at Ackerville Stadium on Sunday.
