National First Division (NFD) side Witbank Spurs have one foot in the Vodacom League but won't approach their final game as if it's over — according to coach Kenny Ndlazi.

Spurs are bottom of the eight-team Inland Stream but have the same points (23) as FC AK while Black Leopards too are also not safe from relegation with two more points.

"We have to win our game but at the same time we have to also hope Leopards and FC AK get negative results," he said.

Spurs face log leaders Jomo Cosmos, FC AK take on second-placed Black Aces and Leopards take on Dynamos. The trio all have to win and if it happens then Spurs will go as their goal difference count against them.

"I will have someone informing me of FC AK and Leopards scores. It's a tense situation, but I believe we will win and that we'll get through this. All three (bottom) teams have tough fixtures and we all know what is at stake."

The Vodacom League is obscure, to say the least, and Ndlazi wants his players to make the best of this match to stay in the NFD.

"These players are young, talented and driven. The inexperience showed though and that is why we are in this position. But we will fight to the end to secure our place in the NFD."

Against Cosmos they face the ultimate test. The former PSL side were relegated last season, but made a formidable comeback this season leading the chasing pack.

"They're a very good team, excellent players, good wingers. We know what to expect from Cosmos. They're a physical side and they give their all. But we are prepared for this."

Kick off is at 3pm at the Ackerville Stadium in Witbank.
