Bay United maintained their position at the top of the National First Division (NFD) Coastal Stream after beating Ikapa Sporting 1-0 at Erica Park on Saturday.

On Sunday, second-placed Carara Kicks beat FC Cape Town 2-0 at Bahlokong Stadium, while Vasco da Gama edge out Hanover Park 3-2 to move to third place on the log.

Meanwhile, it was draws all round in the Inland Stream as all four matches played finished in draws.

Pretoria University and African Warriors played to a 0-0 draw on Friday while leaders Black Leopards were held to a 1-1 draw by Dynamos.

Newcomers United FC and Batau FC played to a disappointing 0-0 draw at Loubsure Park, while Winners Park and Witbank Spurs drew 2-2 at Seshego Stadium to round off a dull weekend in the Inland Stream.
