Bay United extended their lead at the top of the National First Division (NFD) Coastal Stream to four points after beating FC Cape Town 2-0 at Wolfson Stadium on Saturday.
Nathi Lions registered a crucial 2-0 away win to Vasco da Gama at Erica Park to move second on the log, just a point over Carara Kicks who lost 1-0 to Hanover Park on Sunday.
Thanda Royal Zulu's miserable start to the season continued when they were held to a 2-2 draw by bottom-of-the-log Ikapa Sporting at Mpumalanga Stadium on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Black Leopards maintained the lead at the top of the Inland Stream after beating Witbank Spurs at Ackerville Stadium, while Pretoria University registered their first win of the season when they walloped Dynamos 3-0 at Nkowa Nkowa Stadium on Saturday.
