Orlando Pirates coach Ruud Krol admitted that his side are struggling up front but says he is nonetheless happy with the point earned in the Soweto derby.

Krol's charges played to a goalless draw against traditional rivals Kaizer Chiefs in Saturday's clash at the Orlando Stadium.

The 'Buccaneers' have one of the worst goal-scoring records in the Premier Soccer League this term and against Chiefs they failed to score for the fifth time in their last seven league matches.

"It is always disappointing if you cannot win, that is for sure," lamented the Dutch coach after the match.

"But I saw two teams play for a win, but to win you need to score. That is always (true) in football."

Notwithstanding Pirates' poor showing in front of goal, Krol was happy with his team's showing.

"We know that we have a little trouble up front but of course we try to do our best with the players that we have. We go for it, we try it, we do it and the boys were fighting until the end," he explained.

"About the goal, we don't get it and they (Kaizer Chiefs) don't get it."

"(Saturday's result) is disappointing but we stay unbeaten in the derby and of course it's a good point (to collect). The boys fought for the three points but we didn't get it."
