Santos coach Boebie Solomons is counting on the psychological edge that his side has over SuperSport United.
'The People's Team' were the only side that United failed to beat in two matches last campaign, even coming close to giving Orlando Pirates the title on the last day of the season when they beat 'Amatsatsantsa a Pitori' 1-0 at Coetzenburg Stadium.
Ironically, it was the same Santos that beat Pirates last month to ensure that United topped the log.
They are now second with 19 points, while United are first on 22 points after 11 rounds of games.
"We are hoping that that psychological advantage can work for us because our players know them very well," Solomons said.
"But actually, I would be happy if we can walk out with a point from the game. A point would be golden, anything more than that we will consider a bonus."
Solomons singled out United winger Daine Klate as the biggest threat to their ambitions, and their most vital player over the last three seasons.
Klate netted a brace when a 10-man United side outclassed Pirates 3-0 in their last fixture.
"They have won the league on successive occasions and I know that Klate will be the one to watch when he makes those diagonal runs from deep."
