AmaZulu and Santos are two of the Absa Premiership?s form teams in recent weeks and the duo will meet at the Ulundi Stadium on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 3.30pm).

AmaZulu appear to have turned the corner after their early season struggles, winning two and drawing one of their last three matches. The KwaZulu-Natal side lie in 13th place with 12 points to their name.

'Usuthu' defeated Orlando Pirates in midweek, handing the former league leaders their third successive loss.

Santos have won three of their last five games and are on an unbeaten run of seven matches stretching back to mid-September. The Cape side are placed third on 20 points.

'The People's Team' showed great fighting spirit to claim a 2-2 draw in their away match to league leaders SuperSport United in midweek, scoring the equalising goal deep into injury time.

AmaZulu and Santos have met 21 times in the league since 1991, with 'Usuthu' winning nine games to the Cape side?s five.

In home league matches for AmaZulu they have defeated Santos five times and suffered just two defeats in 11 encounters.

Last season the KwaZulu-Natal side took four points off their Cape opponents, drawing 1-1 away and winning 1-0 at home.
