Mamelodi Sundowns keeper Calvin Marlin has revealed he has come to an agreement with the club over a new three-year contract.

The 33-year-old's current deal expires at the end of June next year and he has stated he would prefer to secure his future before 2010.

The stopper told Football365.co.za he hasn't signed as yet, because club boss Patrice Motsepe hasn't rubber stamped the deal.

"We have reached an agreement, but it's been three weeks since they told me that they are waiting for Patrice to finalise the deal. I'm concerned.

"It is obviously not nice knowing where I stand at the moment, but like I said an agreement has been reached and it is only a matter of putting pen to paper to seal it, if the team hasn't changed its mind regarding the agreed terms of course," Marlin said.
