Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Felix Katongo made an immediate impact when he came on against Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday, but he feels there is more he can do.
The Zambian international has been playing a cameo role since arriving at the start of the season and until his well-taken goal in the 85th minute at the Seisa Ramabodu stadium that sealed a 2-0 win, he hadn't lived up to expectations.
Katongo could have grabbed a second a couple of minutes later, but Siwelele keeper Patrick Tignyemb denied him from close range.
"I'm not satisfied at all, because I know myself and what I can do," the former Jomo Cosmos midfielder tells Football365.co.za.
"I know when I'm on form, I will do better than what I'm doing now. I'm just hoping that I can continue with what I did against Celtic," he said.
Katongo, who is the younger brother of Arminia Bielefeld striker Christopher Katongo, has signed a one-year contract with the Brazilians and hopes he will do enough to convince the Sundowns management to extend his stay.
"I will continue to do my best for the team and we will take it from there," Katongo added.
