SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt has moved to deny speculation that there is bad blood between himself and midfield maestro Siyabonga Nkosi.
The Bafana Bafana star was missing from 'Matsatsantsa's line-up in the 1-1 draw with Golden Arrows and his omission turned heads, especially after news circulated that the 28-year-old had skipped several training sessions.
Hunt, who has been tasked to help assess Bafana boss Joel Santana, revealed that the player has been absent due to personal reasons. However, he also hinted that there have been disagreements with Nkosi.
"Nkosi will be back into the fold, we're on good terms. Yes, at times we do disagree but it's all work related," Hunt told Pretoria News before revealing that the player's family home was burgled.
"They broke into his house and he had to be by his family's side.
"If a player is not performing to the best of his ability he has to be substituted; it happens to all the players, Nkosi is and remains our best player," concluded the coach after fielding questions about Nkosi's early substitutions.
