SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt and winger Daine Klate have been voted Coach and Player of the Month of October respectively following their good showing of late.
Matsatsantsa are top the log after the first round of fixtures, two points ahead of the second-placed Ajax Cape Town, and look set to win the league for the third time. But their coach is adamant they are not home and dry yet.
Hunt told the league's website:"With teams like Santos and Ajax Cape Town up there I cannot say we will win it, there is a long way to go."
Klate has been in fine form lately which has seen him get a Bafana Bafana call up to face Japan and Jamaica.
He said: "It is so easy to play alongside these guys and while my objective is to create goals and to score, I have to give credit to my team-mates. This season so far has been excellent and I just hope we continue like this.
"As players we respect and know each other very well. On the field we clicking and you can see it and feel it."
The Port-Elizabeth born winger credited his good form to the birth of his son.
"He was born on September 29, and since then I've been scoring goals. Not only has he brought us so much happiness, but I think he is the reason for my success."
