Arrows and Swallows draw

Golden Arrows and Moroka Swallows played to a 0-0 draw in an Absa Premiership match played at the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban on Wednesday night.
The draw saw both teams fumbled and failed in their objective to penetrate the Premier League's key top eight positions.
And while frustration was the keynote for both sides, whose prospects of finishing among the top eight teams in the PSL is now hanging in the balance, the game provided a notable hero in the form of Swallows goalkeeper Greg Etafia.
The save at the foot of the post by the cat-like Nigerian international from Richard Henyekane's first-half penalty was as good as anything in a similar situation as you might find anywhere in the world.
And while Etafia stood out for this moment of magic, Arrows' agile Brazilian goalkeeper Helton da Rocha, with his face masked as protection from recent serious facial injuries, was only marginally inferior for what was a notably fearless display under
the circumstances.
Unhappily, the out-players hardly matched up to the scintillating play of their goalkeepers in a probing, evenly-matched game in which a draw was the fairest result.
It was an unfortunate ending for Swallows teenager Thato Ferland, who was making his debut and had the heartbreaking experience of being handed a severely-awarded red card in the 90th minute.
For the rest, the greatest misfortune belonged to the sparse crowd who watched two teams who failed to grasp the importance of a win and plodded their way to a stalemate with scant signs of inspiration.
