As if facing promotion playoffs was not enough embattled Thanda Royal Zulu were fined R50 000 by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) Disciplinary Committee.

This comes after the KwaZulu-Natal side were found guilty on a charge of misconduct following their failure to provide medical personnel at a PSL match.

This incident occurred during the Absa Premiership match between Thanda Royal Zulu and Maritzburg United on 9 May 2009.

The R50 000 fine is payable immediately and Thanda were ordered to pay the cost of the sitting.
