Manchester City seemed to be trouble from the start against home side Feyenoord. City made a powerful statement as they defeated Feyenoord who appeared to be chasing shadows from as early as the second minute of the match.
Two minutes was all it took for City to get onto the score card as John Stones scored to put City at a 1-0 advantage. It did not stop there as City kept piling on the pressure as Sergio Aguero scored the second goal and his 50th European goal in the 10th minute. Gabriel Jesus was not too far behind as he scored his first European goal on his debut in Europe making it 3-0 to assert their dominance.
Feyenoord started the second half off better than they did the first but they could not stop the skilful City team. In the 63rd minute John Stones scored his second goal for his side as the game ended on a 4-0 City-dominated match.
This is definitely another step in the right direction for Pep Guardiola and Manchester City.
