After sustaining a hamstring injury in Tuesday’s Champions League win over Basel, Paul Pogba is set to be out for between a month and six weeks.
He reportedly left Old Trafford on crutches after making his debut as United captain for a mere 18 minutes before leaving the field.
After having scans on the injury on Wednesday, it has been reported that the Manchester United midfielder will miss at least a month, leaving him struggling to be fit for the Premier League trip to Liverpool on October.
According to BBC Sport, Man United manager Jose Mourinho will give an update at a news conference on Friday.
The 24-year-old Pogba will unfortunately miss crucial league games against Everton, Southampton and Crystal Palace as well as France's World Cup qualifiers.
