Bafana Bafana and Golden Arrows midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi has moved a step closer to completing his proposed switch to English Premiership side Fulham.

The South Africa international recently took in a spell of training with Fulham, allowing him to catch the eye of manager Roy Hodgson.

"Lamontville Golden Arrows and Fulham have reached an agreement on the bid for the South African International; the deal was confirmed on Tuesday afternoon. Fulham also made arrangements to organise Dikgacoi's medical," read as statement on the official Arrows website.

With those tests expected to be completed on Wednesday, Dikgacoi is hoping his arrival in the Premier League will be rubber-stamped in the near future.

This will come as a huge relief to the player after failing earlier in January to secure a move as he did not meet the 75 per cent national team appearance quota required according to Premiership rules.

"Congratulations to Kagisho Dikgacoi for his accomplishments and for being the first ever Golden Arrows player to sign in England, and not just to sign with any team but with one of the top sides in England. On behalf of the entire Golden Arrows Family we wish you the best and good luck on your future," concluded the statement.
