19:38pm Its a good night from us and we'll see you at Trent Bridge for the fifth and final ODI clash between these two powerhouse sides.

19:30pm Man of the match is Ian Bell - well deserved, a sensational 88 runs from the lad...

Word at Lords is that England have won by 6 wickets, sending them 2-1 ahead.

19:37pm We apologise folks but we've had some technical difficulties.

18:57pm OUT! prods outside off and edged through to the keeper! Bapora goes back to the pavilion.

18:24pm Batting power-play comes into play...

18:20pm Covers are off and the players are ready...good news...looks like play will resume...and yes it does.

17:40pm Rain has stopped play. We'll bring you details as they come in so stay with us.

17:52pm OUT! SA finally get a break - full delivery from Elgar, looped up on leg stump and Trott misses with a sweep ... hit on the pad and SA review. Taufel says not-out but third umpire calls it. Trott is gone!

17:28pm And Bell reaches his half ton - he's been superb all afternoon. Well deserved!

17:15pm A well deserved and brilliantly played Ton for England - applause from the English fans certainly proves how well Trott and Bell have been together this afternoon.

16:40pm Second bowling power-play comes on...

16:36pm Change in bowling as Wayne Parnell comes into the attack...

16:32pm England reach their first half ton thanks to a great batting partnership between Trott and Bell.

16:30pm SA switch to spinner Dean Elgar...hoping he'll bring in something special...

15:54pm Mclaren comes in to bowl...

15:30pm OUT!SA strike early in the first over! Steyn hits Cook Cook right in front of off stump and lbw, Cook is gone.

15:30pm We're back folks! Steyn to start off SA's 220 target defence.

England will be very happy heading into tea - they took regular wickets and left SA feeling a little shaky. They'll have good momentum and confidence after the break. SA certainly have their work cut out for them.

14:58pm And its all over! England will be very happy with the target chase - only 221 needed to win after 50 overs.

14:49pm OUT! It's angled in and comes off the pads, cry for lbw, it runs to third man and as they come back for the second, third man has thrown down the stumps and McLaren is run out for 1.

14:48pm OUT! It's a short ball from Finna and Elgar tries to go for the pull shot, but it gets a glove and straight to the keeper it goes.

14:40pm Robinson takes SA to a second ODI century with yet another superbly driven FOUR!

14:34pm Robinson has come out guns blazing, with a FOUR then a SIX in his first over...it's been a long time since we saw a boundary from SA....

14:25pm OUT! Tredwell gets another wicket, as Parnell goes. SA are again stumped from behind by the Keeper...

14:11pm OUT! Loud cheers from the English crowd as de Villiers advances to play an expansive drive from Tredwell but is stumped from behind by the keeper!

14:08pm End of bowling power-play.

13:35pm DRINKS!

13:23pm OUT! SA are falling apart. Ball coming in down the slope from Bapora, and Faf is late on the defence - Faf goes for 1!

13:11pm OUT! beautiful piece of bowling from Tredwell as he drags Duminy down the pitch, Duminy attempts to flick it but it is the easiest of catches for Kieswetter.

13:05pm OUT! Bapora smiles, he's taken Amla out. Little bit of swing, full and straight and the ball scatters loosely between bat and pad and into the stumps...

12:40pm OUT! England finally get a breakthrough as Smith top edges a pull through to the keeper, was late on the stroke and got a healthy top edge that Kieswetter took above his head.

12:26pm Oh no, England do it again...missed another catch...despair on their faces...they know this is not good...

12:22pm Bowling power-play introduced. Finn comes back into the attack.

12:20pm Amla takes a quick single and its a half ton for the Proteas....

12:10pm England change their bowling attack as Patel comes into the fold....

12:05pm First hour gone and SA are slowly cruising along with ten wickets in hand...

11:52am Finn gets an inside edge and appeals, ball nips back in, decision reviewed but nothing on hot-spot - Amla not out.

England won the toss and have chosen to bowl.

Its a brand new pitch at Lords today with a lot of pace to it...Smith's men will be looking to exploit the pitche's great batting conditions to hopefully send England to No. 3 in the ODI rankings by close of play today.

It's certainly been an interesting tour so far. SA will be looking to redeem themselves from their 3rd ODI loss by setting a very good target today.....

11:15am Welcome back to the 4TH ODI clash between South Africa and England......
